Is there a catch?  - Yes.

  • You will be automatically subscribed to Mostinnermost's monthly newsletter.
  • If you would choose to unsubscribe from the monthly newsletter your events will be removed.
  • You are limited to one event per week per business.
  • Event descriptions are limited to 500 characters (about 80 words)
  • Please allow 1-2 weeks for submission to be posted.
  • Events that are not related to Mostinnermost's philosophy, vision and mission will not be approved and will be removed.

You may print this page to keep on hand while entering events.  Please be conscious of the environment and file the printout in a place where you will be able to access it easily the next time you need to add an event and so will not have to print another copy.

Events List - Steps to add an event:

You may feel overwhelmed by these instructions but once you have done them once it will easy thereafter.

Create an Account (once off)

  1. STOP* If you have already created an account - go to Step 2
  2. START* On the right website border, under Login select Create an Account.
  3. Enter your name, username, E-mail, Password, Verify your password, and click [Register]

Login

  • On the right website border, under Login, type in your Username and Password and click [Login] button

STEP 1 - Submit an Event

  • Should the same event happen more than once at different venues or times/dates, please complete a submission for every change of venue/time/date with the same event Title.
  • Should the same event happen more than once at the same venue and time/date, you may use the Repetition option in the event setup.
  1. On the left website border, under Main Menu, select Events then select Submit an Event
  2. Please complete the field details in full (do not use abbreviations or short names) (please check your spelling is correct)
    1. Enter the event Title
    2. Venue:
      • If there is no venue select the [No Venue] button on the right
      • If it is at an existing venue, click on the [Δ Select] button under the 'submit a new venue' button. Click on the venue name to select the venue. If the list of venues is too long use filter at the top of the venue list to search for the venue name
      • If the venue does not exist in the venue list, go NOW to  "STEP 2 - Submit a new venue" below
    3. Choose event Category
    4. Enter a start Date (format: yyyy-mm-dd) (You may also use the calendar tool - Icon on right of date box)
    5. Enter the Enddate (format: yyyy-mm-dd) (You may also use the calendar tool - Icon on right of date box)
    6. Enter start Time (format: HH:MM)
    7. Enter Endtime (format: HH:MM)
    8. Choose if the event repeats or not
      1. If no Repetition, choose 'nothing'
      2. If the event repeats, select the type of Repetition and complete the required details that open after you make the selection. (You'll be able to figure them out)
    9. Image:  Browse for an image to link to the event. Image file size cannot be more than 100kb
    10. Description:  Type in your event description. You are allowed 500 characters (about 80 words)
    11. Save the Event Scroll to the top of the webpage and click on the [Save] button

STEP 2 - Submit a new venue

  1. Click on the [Submit a new venue] button
  2. Enter the "Venue" name (e.g. Coca-Cola dome)
  3. Enter the "Street" address (street number is optional) (include your suburb name) (e.g. Northumberland Road, North Riding) It is in your benefit to type these details in full as Google Maps (the mapping system we use) needs to find the correct location otherwise the map may show another country, city or suburb.
  4. Enter the "ZIP"  (postal code) (e.g. 2162) - Required field for the same reason as point 4 above
  5. Enter the "City" (e.g. Johannesburg) - It is in your benefit to type the city name in full for the same reason as point 4 above - please ensure correct spelling of city name.
  6. Enter the "State" (province) - It is in your benefit to type the province name in full for the same reason as point 4 above - please ensure correct spelling of state name.  (Common error:  Gauteng begins with Gau and not Gua)
  7. Enter "Country" iso-code. (South Africa is ZA) (Saudi Arabia is SA)
  8. Enter the venue "Website".  (e.g. http://www.coca-coladome.co.za) (This website is NOT for your personal website address - if you are found to have added your personal website your venue will be deleted)
  9. Add a Map link:  Leave as YES
  10. Image:  Browse for an image to link to the event. Image file size cannot be more than 100kb
  11. Description:  Type in your event description. You are allowed 500 characters (about 80 words)
  12. Click [Add City/Venue] button
  13. Scroll to the top of the webpage and click on the [Save] button
  14. Click on the red "Submit new event" icon (looks like a little calendar)
  15. Now enter your event (linked to this venue) start at the instructions "STEP 1 - Submit an Event" above
